GOODOERS

goodoers
Good deeds wherever people are.
Goodoers – Doing good belongs to everyone.

Goodoers is a non-profit and non-affiliated association, registered in 2019, that makes doing good simple, accessible, and natural – right where people already are.
We believe that everyone wants to do good when it is easy and meaningful.
For us, helping is not an obligation, but an opportunity to increase well-being, strengthen togetherness, and bring meaning to one’s own life.
Goodoers develops practical actions, both small and large, that bring joy to both the helper and the one being helped.

Our Principles
Actions build community
We support local communities and make helping in everyday life natural – everyone can help, we simply make it visible.
Everyone has something to give
We don’t divide people into helpers and those being helped, but build communities where giving and receiving go hand in hand, depending on one’s life situation.
The power of local
We believe that the help closest to home makes the biggest difference. That’s why we focus our efforts on the very city or neighborhood where people live their daily lives.
Small actions, real impact
Flexible in action – right where help is needed, in everyday life and on people’s terms.

Who We’re For?

Goodoers is for all of us – for those who want to help, and for those who sometimes need support.
We don’t divide people, but believe in communities where everyone can both give and receive in turn, in their own way.
Well-being belongs to everyone.
With us, even the smallest gesture is enough: a moment of your time or the will to help can change someone’s day.
What we do.
We make everyday good deeds easy, visible, and community-driven.
Our activities take place in grocery stores, libraries, and neighborhoods – places where people already are.

PopUp Volunteering
We create ways to do good without registrations, training, or long-term commitments. Doing good can be easy – one moment at a time.

Neighbor Bag
The community collects grocery bags at the local store and delivers them directly to those in need in the area. Together, neighborhoods support their own – in practical ways and with heart.

Digital Methods
We share small good deeds, proven models, and inspiring ideas that encourage participation and make acts of kindness visible.
Why does it work?
Small, everyday acts of kindness increase well-being – often even more than organized volunteer work. A large meta-analysis (about 200,000 participants) shows that such informal acts strengthen meaningfulness, positive emotions, and cognitive capacity. Kindness also supports our own well-being: it increases the sense of belonging, competence, and autonomy.
Trust is at the heart of what we do.
Trust builds connection, hope, and safety – both in oneself and in others.
We believe that strong trust supports communities, reduces stress, and increases resilience. That’s why we design our activities so that everyone can feel they belong – even when life doesn’t go according to plan.
Funding & Partnerships
Our activities are funded through:
-
donations
-
project funding
-
fundraising campaigns
We also work as co-implementers in our partners’ development projects, especially in roles related to coordination, training, and online communications.
